  • ACTS provides financial assistance to households who have received a utility disconnection notice from one of the following utility companies: Prince William County Service Authority (PWCSA), Virginia American Water (VAWC), Northern Virginia Electric Cooperative (NOVEC), Dominion Virginia Power (DVP), Washington Gas (WG), or Columbia Gas (CG). They also assist our unsheltered residents with propane.

New Times 9-11 a.m. 

To-go meals will be provided to all children under the age of 18, without charge, regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability, and there will be no discrimination during the meal service.

Service Times: Monday- Friday* 9-11 a.m.

Service Style: To-go Meals served at the front door of each location

Meal Types: Packaged breakfast and lunch will be served at the same time.

*Range of dates may change based on Centers for Disease Control and Prevention/Virginia Department of Health guidance

The MPCS School Nutrition Program will provide prepackaged grab-and-go meals at no charge to all children ages 18 and under TODAY, March 26, at the main entrance of Manassas Park High School at 4 pm.

Sets of three prepackaged breakfasts and lunches will be provided. All meals will be the same regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability, and there will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service.

Safe social distancing practices will be in effect. As the market and meal distributions will be set up as a grab-and-go, attendees should follow volunteer direction to ensure safe vehicle traffic and open vehicle trunks for expedited delivery.

Manassas City

Change in Meal Distribution:

This week, MCPS began distributing food for our students at three sites to assist families during the closure.  As health officials continue to encourage social distancing to combat the spread of the coronavirus, the Food & Nutrition department has now been approved to send up to 5 days’ worth of meals home at one time.  This new distribution format will begin Monday, March 25th with the same hours as before, 11:30 am – 12:30 pm. (Osbourn, Weems and Round)
